Dull conditions developed on the wholesale Jaggery market on Saturday as prices continued to be enquired at previous closing levels in thin trade.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too showed a similar quiet tendency on small buying support.
Marketmen said sporadic demand against restricted supply mainly held gur prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal: Gur chakku 2,700-2,750, pedi 2,900-2,950, dhayya 2,850-2900 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,200-2,275, chakku Rs 2,425-2,600 and khurpa 2,375-2,425.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,525-2,625 and dhayya Rs 2,525-2,625.
