Sugar prices at the Vashi wholesale market ruled flat on eased supply and demand. Heavy carryover stocks, higher production and limited domestic demand kept the market under pressure.
At Vashi, arrivals were 61-62 truck loads and local dispatches were at 59-60 loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association spot rates: S-grade ₹3,032-3,082 and M-grade ₹3,080-3,242. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,020-3,070 and M-grade ₹3,070-3,170.
