Renewed festival demand for imported oils lifted their prices, while prices of indigenous oils stayed flat. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, palmolein and soyabean oil rose by ₹2 per 10 kg each. Cotton refined oil increased by ₹5. Stockists continued to bet for bulk buys. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was steady at ₹1,430 (₹1,430) and loose (10 kg) was at ₹895 (₹895).
