Spot pepper prices fell further on bearish sentiments. Karnataka was offering at ₹665 a kg delivered anywhere in India. On the terminal market, 10 tonnes were traded at ₹650/. High Range material was traded at ₹665-670.
Spot prices fell further by ₹200 a quintal to ₹65,800 (ungarbled) and ₹68,800 (garbled). January, February and March contracts on the IPSTA were steady at ₹65,000, ₹63,000 and ₹58,000 a quintal. Export prices were at $10,575 a tonne c&f Europe and $10,825 for the US.
