Spot pepper fell further on Monday on abundant availability of imported pepper in all the markets across the country.
On the terminal market 7 tonnes of mixture of Sri Lankan, Vietnamese and local pepper were traded at ₹440 a kg.
Spot pepper fell by ₹400 a quintal to close at ₹44,100 (ungarbled) and ₹46,100 (garbled) a quintal.
Indian export prices were at $7,450 a tonne c&f for Europe and $7,700 a tonne c&f for the US.
