Spot pepper prices ruled steady on matching demand and supply. Neither were there any sellers nor any buyers from here as imported pepper is abundantly available in the upcountry markets. Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹48,400 (ungarbled) and ₹50,400 (garbled) a quintal. Indian export prices were at $8,100 a tonne c&f for Europe and $8,350 a tonne c&f for the US.
