With the farmers getting busy in preparing their fields for sowing of soyabean, arrivals of pulse seeds in Indore and other mandis in Madhya Pradesh have declined. Most of the pulses and pulse seeds have been ruling higher for the past few days with tur (Maharashtra) today rising to ₹5,650-5,700 a quintal, while tur (Nimari) at ₹4,700-5,200, while tur (Karnataka) rose to ₹5,750 a quintal, respectively. Tur dal (sawa no.) was at ₹7,700-7,800, tur dal (full) at ₹7,900-8,100, while tur dal marka was quoted at ₹8,300-8,400 a quintal.
Weak arrival and increased demand also lifted moong and urad with moong today rising to ₹6,850-6,900. Moong dal (bold) fetched ₹8,400-9,000, moong dal (mongar) was at ₹9,650-10,200 a quintal.
Similarly, urad and its dal were quoted higher with urad today being quoted at ₹6,300-6,700 a quintal. Urad dal (bold) ruled at ₹8,100-8,400, while urad dal monger was quoted at ₹9,200-9,400 a quintal, respectively.
