Sluggish trend continued in both soyabean and soya oil on weak demand, even as arrivalacross mandis in Madhya Pradesh remained slack at 45,000-50,000 bags. On Monday, soyabean prices in mandis across Madhya Pradesh declined to ₹3,750-3,850 a quintal (down ₹100-125 from last week). Plant deliveries declined to ₹3,850-3,900 (3,950-4,050). Soyameal also traded low on weak domestic and export demand with its prices on the spot being quoted at ₹34,500-35,000 a quintal. According to trade experts here, future of soyabean appears to be bullish on lower domestic crop output. Soya oil traded marginally higher on improved global cues with soya refined today being quoted at ₹600-605 for 10 kg (598-602), while soya solvent ruled at ₹575-580.
