Continuing raids against hoarders and stockists and imposition of stock limit by Madhya Pradesh government on pulse seeds have arrested rally with chana (kanta) declining to ₹5,000 a quintal (down ₹100 from last week). Similarly, chana (desi) declined by ₹100 to ₹4,800. Kabuli Bitki ruled at ₹4,500-4,800. Amid scattered buying support, dollar chana ruled firm at ₹6,200-6,800 (down ₹300 from last week). Improved export demand perked up dollar chana in container with the 42/44 count at ₹7,400; 44/46 count ₹7,225-50; 58/60 count at ₹6,200, while dollar chana 60/62 count ruled at ₹6,100 a quintal respectively.
