Prices of thoor dal and gram dal declined, while moong dal and maida went up at the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Thoor dal dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 6,600 per quintal, while gram dal slipped by Rs 50 to Rs 2,950 per quintal. In contrast, moong dal rates firmed up by Rs 200 to Rs 7,000 per quintal. Maida (90 kg) rose by Rs 50 to Rs 1,750.
Prices for other commodities remained unchanged.
Following are the rates in Rs per quintal: thoor dal 6,600, urad dal 6,000, moong dal 7,000, gram dal 2,950, sugar 2,800, wheat 1,900, maida (90 kg) 1,750 and sooji (90 kg) 1,900.
