Emergence of more sellers from Karnataka pulled spot pepper prices down further on Wednesday, said market sources. On the terminal market, 47 tonnes arrived and were traded at ₹585- 600 a kg. Spot prices fell by ₹300 a quintal to close at ₹58,300 (ungarbled) and ₹61,300 (garbled). Indian export prices were at $9,725 a tonne c&f for Europe and $9,975 a tonne c&f for the US.
