At Tuesday's auction, conducted in Puttady, Kerala, by the South Indian Green Cardamom Company Ltd, Kochi, 50.9 tonnes were traded where the maximum price stood at ₹1,319 a kg. The auction average moved up to ₹1,003.24 a kg as against ₹967.51 the previous Tuesday.
The uptrend was visible from last weekend, and on Monday the individual auction average rose to ₹991.35 a kg.
