Refined soya oil prices fell further by 80 paise to Rs 622.45 per 10 kg at the futures trade today as traders booked profits at higher levels, influenced by fall in demand at the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May fell by 80 paise or 0.13 per cent to Rs 622.45 per 10 kg with a trading volume of four lots. Similarly, June contract declined by 0.45 paise or 0.07 per cent to Rs 628.90 per 10 kg with an open interest of five lots.
Traders attributed the decline in refined soya oil futures to profit-booking by speculators at prevailing higher levels due to fall in spot demand.
