Majority of oils in Indore mandis today were quoted higher on rise in futures despite weak global cues and slack with soy refined today rising to ₹665-70 (up ₹10 from last week, while soy solvent ruled at ₹635-40(up ₹12 from last week). Similarly palm and cotton traded higher with palm oil today being quoted at ₹640 (up ₹15 from last week), while cotton oil at ₹622-25. Groundnut oil on the other hand declined on slack physical demand at ₹810-30 (down ₹20 from last week). Mustard seeds and raida traded higher with mustard seeds prices in the physical market today being quoted at ₹4,300-4,400, while raida ruled at ₹3,400 a quintal. In futures however, mustard seeds traded lower with its September and October contracts on the NCEDX today closing at ₹3,098 (down ₹35) and ₹3,140 (down ₹30). Plant deliveries of mustard seeds for Jaipur line today were quoted higher at ₹3,975-80 a quintal.
