Spot pepper continued to slip on Wednesday on slack demand.
There was neither any arrival nor any off take on the terminal market today.
Sellers are reported to have withdrawn looking at the declining trend during the past few days, market sources told Business Line.
Spot prices dropped by Rs100 a quintal to Rs69,100 (ungarbled) and Rs72,100 (garbled).
July, August and September contracts on the IPSTA stayed unchanged at Rs72,000, Rs71,000 and Rs69,000 a quintal.
Export prices were at around $10,750 a tonne c&f for Europe and $11,000 for the US.
