Pepper markets on Wednesday ruled steady on matching activities. Tight availability coupled with sellers' resistance resulted in no arrivals at the terminal market today. Consequently, the spot prices remained unchanged at ₹69,900 (ungarbled) and ₹72,900 (garbled) a quintal. July, August and September contracts on the IPSTA stayed steady at ₹72,000, 71,000 and ₹69,000 a quintal respectively. Export prices were at $11,050 a tonne c&f for Europe and $11,300 for the US.
