Spot pepper prices slipped marginally on Thursday, according to trade sources. Winter demand has started picking up slowly. On the terminal market, five tonnes of mixed quality High Range pepper were traded at ₹415 a kg. Spot prices slipped by ₹100 a quintal to ₹40,800 (ungarbled) and ₹42,800 (garbled). Export prices remained unchanged at $6,750 a tonne c&f for Europe and $7,000 for the US.
