State Trading Corporation (STC) today said that its net loss has narrowed to Rs 9.30 crore in the last quarter of 2014-15.
It had registered a net loss of Rs 184.80 crore in the corresponding January-March quarter of the previous fiscal, STC said in a filing on BSE.
STC sells fertiliser, commodities and precious metals.
The company’s total income from operations increased to Rs 3,667.49 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 3,542.33 crore in the same period a year earlier.
Shares of STC were trading at Rs 158.55 apiece on BSE, up 3.05 per cent from the previous close.
