Mix trend was witnessed at Vashi sugar market on Friday. S-grade increased by Rs10 higher side and M-grade declined by Rs10 lower side. Naka and mill tender prices rule steady on normal activities. Producers continued selling at prevailing rates kept supply ease in market. Inventory at Vashi remained stable at 90 – 95 truck loads. Morale was steady said sources.
Arrivals at Vashi market was 60– 62 truck loads and local dispatches were at 59- 60 truck loads. On Thursday evening 15 – 16 mills offered tenders and sold about 48,000 – 50,000 bags at Rs 3600- Rs3650 (Rs3600 – Rs3650) for S-grade and Rs3680 – Rs3750 (Rs3680 - Rs3750) for M-grade.
On Bombay Sugar Merchants Association's spot rates were: S-grade Rs 3,700- Rs 3,812 (Rs.3700 – Rs3792) and M-grade Rs 3772 – Rs3932 (Rs 3,782 – Rs 3,932).
Naka delivery rates were: S-grade Rs 3,719 – 3,786 (Rs3719 - Rs3786) and M-grade Rs 3,738 – 3,834 (Rs3738 – Rs3834).
