Release of more and more containers of imported pepper has pulled down theprices further on Wednesday, trade sources told Business Line . They said end users and "price buyers" are picking up imported material at₹390 a kg. On the terminal market 7 tonnes were traded at ₹390-415 a kg. Pulpally and Bathery pepper traded at ₹400-405 while high range material at ₹415 . Spot pepper fell further by₹100 a quintal to close at ₹40,400 (ungarbled) and ₹42,400 (garbled) a quintal. Indian export prices were at $6,825 a tonne c&f for Europe and $7,075 for the US
