Six Swiss Exchange, the third largest exchange in Europe, is eying life sciences companies from India for listing on it. “Our strength is life sciences segment and India is our primary focus outside Europe,’’ its Managing Director Urs Widmer told newspersons here on Thursday. Apart from life sciences, there is also potential to be tapped for companies engaged in consumer goods and automotive parts, he added. The exchange, with over $1.2 trillion of free float market capitalisation, is currently in the ‘third stage’ of talks with Indian companies for potential listing, he added. According to Marco Estermann, Executive Director, capital markets in Europe have generally stabilised over the last four years.
