North Indian traders have reportedly purchased 5 to 6 tonnes of Sri Lankan pepper, market sources told BusinessLine .
Spot prices fell by ₹300 a quintal to close at ₹45,300 (ungarbled) a quintal and 47,300 (garbled) a quintal. Indian export prices were at $7650 a tonne for Europe and$7,900 a tonne for the US.
