After a day’s breather, the rupee fell by 9 paise on Friday to 67.64 to the dollar on fresh demand for the currency from banks and importers. Intraday, the rupee moved the 67.58-67.73 range.
The unit had gained by 52 paise or 0.76 per cent on Thursday.
