The rupee trimmed its initial gains but was still quoting up by four paise at 66.95 against the American currency in late morning deals on bouts of dollar selling by exporters amid gains in equities after the approval of GST in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The rupee opened higher at 66.85 at the forex market and hovered in the 67-66.84 range before closing at 66.95.
