Gold futures at the Multi Commodity Exchange opened higher at Rs 29,336 per 10 grams on Tuesday against the previous close of Rs 29,321.
It made a high of Rs 29,390 and low of Rs 29,322. It was trading up 0.21 per cent at Rs 29,382 at 12.35 p.m.
In Comex, the yellow metal for April delivery was up $3 at $1,581 a troy ounce at 12.35 p.m.
