Gold prices fell Rs 110 to Rs 26,931 per 10 grams at the futures trade today as the metal posted losses in the global market.
Gold futures for February delivery declined Rs 110 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 26,931 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,437 lots on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Similarly, the April contract lost Rs 90 or 0.33 per cent to Rs 27,196 per 10 grams in three lots.
Analysts said fall in gold futures was mostly due to a weakening trend in global market. In Singapore, the metal traded lower at $1,200 an ounce.
