Gold futures prices fell Rs 128 to Rs 28,566 per 10 grams today, as speculators offloaded their positions tracking a weakening global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in June fell Rs 128 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 28,566 per 10 grams with a business turnover of 388 lots. Similarly, the metal for delivery in April lost Rs 121 or 0.43 per cent to Rs 28,236 per 10 grams in 13,166 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in gold futures to a weakening global trend.
Meanwhile, the yellow metal declined 0.7 per cent to $1,716.75 an ounce in London.
