Gold futures on the MCX opened higher at Rs 29,644 per 10 gm on Thursday against the previous close of Rs 29,593. It made a high of Rs 29,678 and a low of Rs 29,593. It was up by 0.03 per cent at Rs 29,602 at 1.19 pm.
In Comex, the yellow metal for April delivery was up by $7 at $1,582 a troy ounce at 1.19 pm.
