Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange opened higher at Rs 32,372 per 10 grams on Tuesday against the previous close of Rs 32,359.
December contract touched a high of Rs 32,453 and low of Rs 32,372. It was trading up 0.05 per cent at Rs 32,374 at 1 pm.
In Comex, the December contract was up marginally by $0.3 at $1,750 a troy ounce.
Rupee has been appreciating against dollar in the currency futures market. Despite this, gold futures may gain following a firm trend in the international markets.
