Gold futures on the MCX opened higher at Rs 27,020 per 10 gram on Friday against the previous close of Rs 26,914. It made a high of Rs 27,127 and low of Rs 26,981. It was up by 0.61 per cent at Rs 27,077 at 1.34 pm.
In Comex, the yellow metal for June delivery was up by $8 at $1,476 a troy ounce at 1.34 pm.
