Gold futures on the MCX opened lower at Rs 29,565 per 10 gm on Wednesday against the previous close of Rs 29,569. It made a high of Rs 29,602 and a low of Rs 29,535. It was down by 0.01 per cent at Rs 29,567 at 1.35 pm.
In the Comex, the yellow metal for April delivery was up by $1.6 at $1,576 a troy ounce at 1.35 pm.
