Gold futures on MCX traded lower by 0.09 per cent at Rs 25,690 per 10 grams at 1 p.m. on Monday.
The July contract opened higher at Rs 25,765 against the previous close of Rs 25,714. It made a high of Rs 25,903 and low of Rs 24,641.
In Comex, the yellow metal for August delivery was up by $21 at $1,244 a troy ounce at 1 p.m.
