MMTC Limited is organising an exhibition cum sale of Indian gold coins on the occasion of Republic Day at their showroom in Secunderabad during January 25-27.
The Indian gold coins/bars minted under the Make in India programme were launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 5, 2015. These are available for sale in 5, 10 and 20 gram denominations.
The Indian gold coin is of 24 caret purity (999 purity) depicting Ashoka Chakra on one side and the face of Mahatma Gandhi on the other as in the currency notes.
These IGCs come in tamper proof packing with security features and are minted at Government of India Mints at Mumbai and Kolkata.
In addition to Indian Gold Coins, MMTC gold and silver medallions and Sanchi Silverware products are also being offered for sale at the venue, according to a MMTC statement.
