Silver prices fell Rs 103 to Rs 46,360 per kg at the futures trade today as speculators were indulged in profit-booking.

Silver for delivery in December was down by Rs 103 or 0.22 per cent at Rs 46,360 per kg in futures trade at the Multi Commodity Exchange. It clocked a business volume of 585 lots.

The white metal for delivery in March fell Rs 68 to trade at Rs 47,400 per kg in a business turnover of five lots.

Market analysts said profit-booking at prevailing levels and fresh losses in the overseas market mainly pulled down silver prices at the futures trade here.

In the international market, silver traded 0.13 per cent lower at $19.49 an ounce in Singapore.
