Silver futures traded a shade higher at Rs 34,415 per kg today largely in tune with a firm trend in the global market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in far-month March 2016 contract traded higher by Rs 42 or 0.12 per cent to Rs 34,415 per kg in a business turnover of 287 lots.
In the international market, silver gained 0.18 per cent to $14.16 an ounce in Singapore today.
Market analysts said a firm trend in the global market mainly influenced silver futures here.
