Tracking a weak global trend, silver prices fell Rs 76 to Rs 36,966 per kg at the futures trade today as speculators reduced exposures.
Silver for delivery in December was down by Rs 76 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 36,966 per kg at the futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange. It clocked a business volume of 1,014 lots.
The white metal for delivery in far-month March 2016 also fell Rs 77 or 0.2 per cent to trade at Rs 37,680 per kg in a business turnover of 11 lots.
Market analysts said a subdued trend overseas led to a fall in silver prices at the futures trade here.
In the international market, silver traded 0.4 per cent lower at $15.85 an ounce in Singapore.
