Silver prices were down by Rs 304 to Rs 43,094 per kg at the futures trade today as participants indulged in cutting down their bets amid weak cues overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December was trading lower by Rs 304 or 0.70 per cent to Rs 43,094 per kg in a business turnover of 630 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far—month March declined by Rs 298 or 0.68 per cent to Rs 43,624 per kg in a business volume of 29 lots.
In the international market, silver fell 1.25 per cent to $18.18 an ounce in Singapore today.
