Silver prices rose Rs 60 to Rs 39,039 per kg at the futures trade today as speculators built up positions due to a firm global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March gained Rs 60 or 0.15 per cent to Rs 39,039 per kg in a business turnover of 407 lots. The white metal for delivery in May was trading up by Rs 26 or 0.07 per cent at Rs 39,540 per kg in two lots.
