Shares of GVK Power and Infrastructure are likely to remain focussed as the Ministry of Environment and Forests has recommended environment clearance for the second stage expansion of international airport in Bangalore. The Bangalore International Airport had approached the Ministry seeking clearance for the expansion. The GVK group holds 43 per cent stake in the project. The Stage-1 expansion was completed in December 2013. The overall project cost is around ₹14,870 crore.
