Electrical goods major Havells India Ltd's board of directors will meet on June 30 to consider sub-division of equity shares of the company. At present, the face value of its shares is Rs 5.
The stock was trading at Rs 1112.40, up by Rs 9.80, on the BSE.
During FY 2013-14, the company posted net sales of Rs 4719.69 crore and a net profit of Rs 478.69 crore. The EPS was Rs 38.36, giving the stock a PE ratio of about 30.
The stock price has nearly doubled from its 52-week low of Rs 586 that it had touched on August 29 last year on the BSE. Havells India shares reached a 52-week high of Rs 1242.05 on June 16, 2014.
