HDFC Asset Management Company has declared an interim dividend of ₹12 a share for the financial year ending March 2019.

The dividend pay out was approved by the board in its meeting held on Tuesday.

As intimated earlier, the record date will remain March 7 and the payment of the said dividend would commence from March 12, said the fund house in a statement on Tuesday.

The country’s fund house has also amended its dividend distribution policy. The company has so far had a practice of only declaring interim dividend which was subsequently confirmed by the shareholders as final dividend. However, this policy is now being amended to authorise the board to declare interim dividend followed by final dividend, it added.
