HDFC Mutual Fund has sold 2.05 per cent stake in engineering conglomerate Punj Lloyd for about Rs 34.43 crore in last two months through open market sales.
In a filing to the BSE, HDFC Mutual Fund disclosed that four of its funds — HDFC Top 200 Fund, HDFC TaxSaver, HDFC Infrastructure Fund and HDFC MF Monthly Income Plan — sold 68,01,895 shares in Punj Lloyd between March 19 and May 17, amounting to 2.05 per cent of its stake.
Post these transactions, HDFC Mutual Fund’s stake in Punj Lloyd has reduced to 3.04 per cent or 10,084,540 shares.
Shares of Punj Lloyd closed today fell 3.19 per cent to close at Rs 51.60 apiece on the BSE.
