Infosys co-founders Kris Gopalakrishnan and SD Shibulal have sold 75 lakh shares in multiple block deals.
Gopalakrishnan sold 50 lakh shares and Shibulal, along with his family members, sold 25 lakh shares, valued at ₹862 crore. Details of the buyer(s) were not known.
Infosys’ shares fell 2.8 per cent to ₹1,145.95 on the BSE. Gopalakrishnan and Shibulal were both former CEOs of Infosys but do not have any managerial role now. Earlier in December 2014, three co-founders — NR Narayana Murthy, Nandan Nilekani and K Dinesh — and their family members sold 32.6 million shares, raising ₹6,484 crore.
