LIC Nomura Mutual Fund will launch a debt-oriented product next week, Sachin Relekar, a fund manager, has said.
This hybrid product — to be called “Dual Advantage” — will complete the product portfolio for the fund house, Relekar told BusinessLine here.
As much as 65 per cent of the fund’s corpus will be parked in debt securities with the remaining in equities, he said.
“This is one product that was missing in our offerings. The new fund offer will open on June 22,” Relekar said.
LIC Nomura Mutual Fund, which started its journey in 2012, has a small but growing equity funds portfolio with assets under management of about ₹1,400 crore.
Relekar said that the fund house adopted the “bottoms up” investment approach.
