Asia Index Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between S&P Dow Jones Indices and the BSE, on Thursday launched the S&P BSE Diversified Financials Revenue Growth Index.
The index is designed to measure the performance of private (non-state owned) companies in the S&P BSE 500, classified as finance under the BSE sector classification model, the index provider said.
The index universe is drawn from the constituents of the S&P BSE 500. From the eligible universe, stocks are selected based on the sales per share growth as defined in the index methodology.
