The National Stock Exchange of India has announced a four-member committee to recommend names of candidates for the post of MD & CEO of the bourse following the sudden resignation of Chitra Ramkrishna last week.
The committee consists of Dinesh Kanabar and TV Mohandas Pai, both public interest directors of the NSE, besides Anand Mahindra, Chairman Mahindra Group and and Usha Thorat ex-Deputy Governor RBI as its members, said a statement from the NSE.
The selection committee will recommend appropriate names to the nomination and remuneration committee of the NSE and the NSE Board for appropriate action. The NSE’s nomination and remuneration committee has three members — Ashok Chawla, Chairman, NSE, and public interest director, and Ravi Narain, Vice-Chairman, NSE, and Shareholder Director, in addition to Dinesh Kanabar, chairman of the nomination committee and public interest director.
