Shares of Orient Abrasives will remain in focus at the bourses in the next few days, as the open offer to its shareholders kicks off on Monday. Bombay Minerals, subsidiary of Ashapura Minechem, and two others, along with Lambassa Global Opportunity Fund, are offering ₹29.50 a share to buy 3.11 crore shares (or 26 per cent stake in the company). The open offer closes on September 4. Currently, close to 9,900 individual shareholders hold 33.76 per cent stake in Orient Abrasives.
