Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has increased his holding in NCC Ltd above 10 per cent mark by acquiring additional shares through market purchases.
In a disclosure made to the BSE, ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and persons acting on concert have increased the stake in the Hyderabad-based construction company NCC Ltd from 9.96 per cent to 10.21 per cent.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala along with Rekha Jhunjhunwala, Rare Investments, Clue Leasing and Finance, Hilcroft Investments and Rare Share and Stocks has acquired additional 6.47 lakh shares in the company.
Earlier, they together hold 2.55 crore shares (about 9.9 per cent) shares in the company.
These additional shares were acquired between June 28 and July 1, they informed the BSE.
The company shares closed the trade on Monday at Rs 26.50, down 0.56 per cent on the BSE.
