The board of Santosh Industries will meet on March 29 to consider and approve the delisting proposal. The board of directors has received a letter from the promoters/ promoter group, regarding their proposal to delist the equity shares of the company from both the BSE and the Calcutta Stock Exchange where the shares of the company are presently listed. The promoter group has also expressed their intention to make a voluntary delisting offer to acquire 12.53 lakh shares, representing 26.04 per cent of the fully paid-up equity and voting share capital. Shares of Santosh Industries slumped 5 per cent at ₹313.15, on the BSE.
