State Bank of India on Monday said after selling 5 per cent stake in National Stock Exchange of India Ltd for Rs 911.25 crore to Mauritius-based FII Veracity Investments Ltd, it holds 5.19 per cent stake in the exchange.
SBI Capital Markets Ltd, a subsidiary of India’s largest bank, holds 4.33 per cent stake in NSE.
SBI sold 5 per cent stake (or 22.50 lakh shares) in NSE at the rate of Rs 4,050 per share on June 30.
